Cool premise, a REALLY hard setting, and for once a kid actor that I didn't really hate (it's the Mexican kid from The Sitter, he was also pretty hard in that). It has some decent action, and getting to see Mel dressed up in a clown suit is worth the price of admission alone. I felt like this almost could have been an unofficial sequel to Payback, which is definitely a compliment. I think Mel's showing us he still has that classic Riggs hardness after all. Say what you want about the guy, but he knows how to play a certain type of character really well.
